The place was magnificent. I knew this was a lakefront property but it was right at your doorstep. I have not stayed in such a cozy location in Texas. The drive up to the Inn would make anyone nervous (joking) but the rooms, the staff, the location, and activities on site were just perfect. I would definitely stay here again. We rented the kayaks and I lazed around the hammock for a bit. You have the option for wine tasting, river cruise, star gazing and plenty of other things. This was a hidden gem for sure. Oh, DEER. There were deer everywhere around the location – not to worry about hitting them as they were happily grazing all around the property and nearby houses. I was so happy to see so many deer at one place.
